In the Citrix XenServer 6.0 course, students are provided with the foundation necessary to effectively install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Citrix XenServer 6.  Students will learn how to configure a Provisioning Services 6.0 host and create and manage vDisks in a XenServer environment.  Through the use of hands-on labs, students will acquire the skills needed to configure the Distributed Virtual Switch (DVS) as well as Workload Balancing (WLB).  Students will also create and manage Windows virtutal machines and the resource pools in which they will be placed.

This course provides the foundation necessary for administrators to effectvely centralize and manage desktops in the datacenter and deliver them as a service to users anywhere.  Students will learn how to select a desktop delivery model for each user group based on their needs, build proof-of-concept and production XenDesktop environments, assign virtual desktops to users and cutomize the user experience through policies.  This course also provides instruction on how to build a Provisioning Services farm to enable single-image desktop management, and how to host virtual machines on the client device using Citrix XenClient.
